The civilized worlds have begun to use precast buildings for quite some time, as it represents a shortening of time and effort in keeping with their understanding of the time factor in achieving ambitious plans for development and modernization. They have achieved unprecedented success in providing housing and service facilities that meet the needs of their citizens, with a significant increase in population worldwide. These buildings have been based on light materials, such as wood, aluminum, iron sheets, gypsum and cement boards. However, the Middle East in general and the Arab countries in particular have been lagging behind in this area due to the general culture of their citizens who prefer conventional cement buildings to others, especially countries facing climatic difficulties at high or low temperatures. Knowing that the insulation properties in conventional buildings are poor and need expensive treatments to achieve. Accordingly, G.R.C products in the area of precast buildings have achieved the required equation that suits the cement culture so that their buildings can achieve the required durability along with good insulation of heat and sound, in parallel with at least 25% higher completion and lower cost than conventional buildings.
